Someone asked at lunch last week what food we would be taking with us when we left. My mind immediately flooded with ideas.

Desetka, plum rakija
Kajmak, a tangy whipped butter
Cvarci, pork cracklings
Girice, fried smelt
those amazing cappuccinos

The list goes on, avjar (red pepper spread), prosjut (thick rustic prosciutto), flaky almond croissants (ok, maybe not local but super tasty nonetheless)…..
